2. Purpose of data processing

Docentia’s tools (savings, emergency fund, loan, budget, and retirement calculators, and the self-assessment quiz) do not require sign-up. The data you enter into them is processed entirely in your own browser and is never sent to our servers: Docentia never has access to it at any point.

The only data processing we carry out is:

  • Support: Responding to inquiries you send us by email.
  • Analytics and advertising: We use Google Analytics to understand, in aggregate form, how the Website is used, and Google AdSense to display advertising. Both services use cookies and may collect browsing data. You can see the full details in our Cookie Policy.

Docentia guarantees that it:

  • Does NOT require sign-up or any kind of user account to use its tools.
  • Does NOT store, anywhere (on its servers or on your device), the amounts, terms, or interest rates you enter into the calculators.
  • Does NOT share, transfer, or sell personal data to third parties under any circumstances, beyond the data that Google Analytics and Google AdSense automatically collect for their own operation, subject to Google’s own privacy policies.
  • Does NOT send promotional emails, newsletters, or direct marketing campaigns.
  • Does NOT collect or process the user’s real financial data: the figures you enter into the calculators are hypothetical and are used only for the calculation at that moment.

3. Data collected

Since there is no sign-up or user accounts, Docentia does not directly collect personal data, unless you choose to write to us by email. In that case, we will process your email address and the content of your message solely to respond to your inquiry.

Indirectly, through Google Analytics and Google AdSense, browsing data is collected via cookies and similar technologies (such as IP address, device type, or pages visited), for statistical analysis and advertising purposes. 4. Data retention

Since there are no user accounts and no calculator data is stored, Docentia retains no personal data associated with your use of the tools: the information disappears as soon as you leave or reload the page.

If you write to us by email, we retain that message only for as long as necessary to handle your inquiry. Data collected by Google Analytics and Google AdSense is retained in accordance with Google’s own policies, which are independent of Docentia.
